Projects

A quest for armour, artists and a whole lot of lemons.

Lemon Bike Jousting

Hark! Gather round, noble knights and fair maidens, for we bring thee a tale of creativity, chaos and citrus.

Overview

Lime Bike Jousting took London by storm. Created by two artists, this interactive art installation sees riders take to Lime bikes for a spot of modern-day jousting, racking up millions of views across multiple platforms.

But beneath the clashing lances and flying limbs lies something more meaningful: a project built on bringing people together, building community and creating shared cultural moments through art and a healthy dose of playful competition.

Our Idea

So, when word reached out that a second event was taking place this Halloween, we knew we had to join the quest.

As a brand dedicated to bringing fun, creative concepts to life, we asked ourselves a question: how could we make an already legendary event even more memorable?

Our answer? A full suit of armour, custom spray-painted by some of London's maddest artists, with one noble mission: to distribute lemons to the unsuspecting spectators.

The Quest

There was just one small obstacle. How does one source an entire suit of armour and rally a team of talented artists with only a couple of days to spare?

The Armour

We sent word to every armourer in the kingdom, searching high and low for a suit of armour fit for our quest. Just when all hope seemed lost, we struck gold: one last suit of armour remained in the whole of the UK. Its whereabouts? North Wales, naturally.

And so, our brave adventurers embarked on a ten-hour round trip to claim their prize. No quest is complete without a little unnecessary mileage.

But bare armour would not do. We needed artists worthy of the task.

The Art

Enter OPAKE, a London-based artist, and Tom Grennan, the singer-songwriter behind the upcoming album Wrapped in Gold.

With a new project in the works, it felt like the perfect opportunity to join forces, embrace the madness, and bring some of our wildest ideas to life.

The vision was set. The creative minds were assembled. Now, it was time to transform a humble suit of armour into a one-of-a-kind, custom-painted masterpiece.

The Artists

Overview

From London’s graffiti scene to international galleries, Opake has made a name for himself with his bold, layered, and vibrantly coloured reinterpretations of iconic cartoon characters, transforming familiar icons into intricate, obsessive compositions.

The whole process has been documented by YouTuber 3AM KEBAB, who’s no stranger to taking on weird and wonderfully wacky challenges. The full documentary will be dropping on his YouTube channel later this week.
